The Impact
One of the key impacts of my Design App is its ability to streamline the design workflow. By providing a comprehensive set of intuitive tools and features, the app enables designers to rapidly iterate, prototype, and visualize their ideas with ease. This has resulted in a drastic reduction in design time, allowing designers to focus more on creativity and innovation, and ultimately delivering projects faster to clients and stakeholders.
Furthermore, the Design App has had a profound impact on user satisfaction and engagement. By prioritizing usability and user-centered design principles, the app ensures that the end products created using the platform are not only visually pleasing but also intuitive and enjoyable to use. This has resulted in improved user experiences, increased customer satisfaction, and higher user retention rates. Designers using the app have reported positive feedback from their clients and end-users, who appreciate the seamless and visually appealing interfaces created with the Design App.
Key Learnings
Deep thinking process initially can set the tone and structure of the project
which helps alot to follow direction.
Pivot Ideas - Designing is not a zero-sum game. It is okay to reexamine during the process and continue to explore if that is what your testing feedback and insights call for. Usability designed within the given constraints is the most important aspect of the process and must take president over personal preference always.
Collaboration can generate numerous ideas from different resources.
Was fortunate to collab with developers and data scientists in the process
Pain points can be different from assumptions
Next Steps
Updating Portfolio along the journey as new ideas and skills come through
Upskilling and expanding with the skills of different tools, technologies and
different curate thinking process. That can help in story telling and solving
solving problems.
Feedback is key to view other designers point of view. So will keep
network and connecting to achieve higher goals.
I chose an alternative device Android for UI design for this case study
Why Android ?
There are number of reasons for choosing android.
Android has the largest market share in the mobile operating system market, for research studies that aim to reach a wide audience. Researchers can access a vast user base, allowing for a larger sample size and more diverse data collection.
This diversity in hardware and software configurations provides researchers with an opportunity to study the impact of different device specifications, screen sizes, processing power, and other variables on user behavior and performance. It allows for a more comprehensive understanding of how users interact with technology across various devices.
This accessibility facilitates inclusivity in research studies, allowing researchers to gather data from diverse populations. Moreover, the affordability of Android devices can be advantageous when conducting large-scale studies that require distributing devices to participants.
